Upload Policy

By uploading Content to this website, you represent and warrant that you have read and agree to our Terms and Conditions , your Content is legal and does not infringe the rights of any party. All Content on BumbleStock.com must be legally accessible or downloadable by Site visitors for free.

1) To upload photographs, audio, and or video files, you must have a Contributor account with bumblestock.com.

2) Do not upload Content if you cannot warrant that a visitor can legally and freely download it for either private or commercial use without providing you, the Content Creator, attribution of any kind.

3) Do not upload Content that is obscene, illegal, defamatory, or libelous, or that violates any right of privacy, right of publicity, or moral rights, according to Canadian law and the laws of your jurisdiction.

4) When uploading a file, you will provide accurate information about the file so that the file can be accurately tagged (10 to 15 keywords maximum).

Copyrights and Licenses  

Unless otherwise specified, by uploading Content to bumblestock.com, you agree that you have the right to permit the bumblestock.com website to make use of such materials as set forth herein and:

   a. that you have created and own the content, digital photographs, video files, and that such Content is in the Public Domain according to Canadian law as well as the law of your jurisdiction and licensed under Creative Commons.

   b. You further agree that other Users may access or download your Content for free, subject to the specific licensing terms that govern each digital photograph, vector file  and or video file. You agree that the bumblestock.com website and other Users of the Site will not be required to make any payments for use of your Content, including but not limited to payments to you, photographers, unions, guilds, performance rights societies, and any other persons who contributed to such Content.

Modifications

The Bumblestock.com website reserves the right to change the Upload Policy at any time, at its sole discretion. You are responsible for regularly reviewing the Policy. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your agreement to all terms embodied herein.

Quality Guidelines

All content will be individually reviewed by our curation staff and must meet their requirements for compositional and technical standards. Please review the following requirements below before uploading any files to BumbleStock.

Technical Requirements

1) Images must be at least 3,000 pixels on their X Axis. Please do not upscale images to meet this requirement as it reduces the overall image quality. 

2) Videos must be at least 10 seconds in length and no more than 240 seconds total. Videos must be either Full HD, or 4K in resolution. 

Composition Tips:

1) Make sure there is no image noise (No upscaling).

2) Choose interesting commercially viable subject matter.

3) Avoid camera shake and blurry images.

4) Only submit images and videos with proper exposure values.

5) Keep it simple (Do not submit images or videos that are too “busy”, or include unnecessary distractions).

6) Do not upload multiple similar images or videos (Choose the best one for submission).

Keyword Tagging:

To help users find your images and videos you must include effective keywords. The wrong keywords could minimize the number of views & downloads your content receives.

1) Accurately describe what you are uploading. Make sure your keywords provide relevant context to the image, or video in order of importance.

2) Provide between 10 to 15 keywords when describing your content. Please do not “keyword stuff” as this will minimize relevancy and your content will be more difficult to find. 

3) Spell check your keywords.
